Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO Ltd) is expanding its team and looking for dedicated, qualified bus drivers to join their mission of providing sustainable public transport solutions across Rwanda.

About RITCO

Rwanda Interlink Transport Company is a public-private entity committed to delivering reliable and sustainable transportation services to both rural and urban communities throughout Rwanda. As part of their continued growth and commitment to excellence in public service, RITCO is now recruiting 55 qualified bus drivers.

What You'll Do

As a RITCO bus driver, you'll play a vital role in connecting communities and ensuring safe, efficient transportation. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating buses safely and efficiently to transport passengers and their luggage to various destinations
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness, proper maintenance standards, and ensuring adequate fuel levels
• Optimizing bus usage and efficiency
• Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting mechanical issues promptly to the RITCO Garage
• Adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional standards.

Who Should Apply

RITCO is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a bus driver
• Valid driving license category D1
• Age between 21-45 years old
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing from RFI

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Literacy in at least one official language used in Rwanda
• High sense of responsibility and commitment to customer care
• Professional attitude and reliability
