Kivu Choice is Rwanda's largest aquaculture platform and Africa's fastest-growing fish farm. Since 2021, we've grown to produce over 5 million fish meals annually, with operations across Rwanda and into DRC. By 2027, we're targeting 50 million meals per year making nutritious protein accessible across the region.

The Role

We're seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Data & Technology team in Kiyovu, Kigali. You'll transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across our farms, distribution centers, and sales channels.

What You'll Do

• Collect, clean, and analyze data using Excel, SQL, and Python
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings
• Develop automation workflows to streamline data processes
• Query databases (MariaDB/MySQL) for analysis
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver insights

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex functions)
• SQL proficiency (MariaDB/MySQL)
• At least 1 year of data analysis experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills:

• Python for data analysis
• Power BI, Power Automate, or Excel VBA
• Portfolio of data analysis projects
