Position Summary

ADMA International Ltd invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Truck Driver within our Sales Division. This role represents a critical function in our logistics operations, requiring a professional individual who demonstrates exceptional driving proficiency, unwavering commitment to safety protocols, and dedication to representing organizational standards with distinction.

Position Specifications

• Position Title: Truck Driver
• Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Logistics and Sales Officer
• Functional Area: Sales Department

Position Objective

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the safe and efficient transportation of company products to designated destinations, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules while maintaining exemplary communication with dispatch operations and clientele. This position demands superior driving capabilities, meticulous attention to operational details, and professional conduct that consistently reflects organizational values.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Demonstrate punctuality by adhering strictly to scheduled work commencement and completion times
• Maintain vehicles in optimal mechanical condition through proactive care and attention
• Ensure consistent vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation
• Exercise stewardship over vehicle tools and spare components (tires, tubes, batteries, mirrors, light bulbs, and related equipment)
• Execute comprehensive daily operational inspections encompassing tires, lighting systems, braking mechanisms, fuel levels, oil, water, and interior conditions
• Perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs within competency scope
• Handle all company vehicles with appropriate care and professional responsibility

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive vehicle logbooks, documenting mileage and fuel consumption with precision
• Provide timely notification of vehicle damage or maintenance requirements to supervisory personnel
• Ensure full compliance with internal regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Complete mandatory daily maintenance verification documentation

Professional Conduct

• Demonstrate effective communication skills characterized by transparency and clarity
• Execute responsibilities with minimal supervisory oversight while maintaining accountability
• Apply exceptional time-management methodologies to optimize operational efficiency
• Uphold organizational values of integrity and honesty in all professional interactions

Required Qualifications and Competencies

Mandatory Requirements

• Secondary school certificate (High school diploma or equivalent qualification)
• Valid Category C driving license in good standing
• Minimum two (2) years of documented professional driving experience
• Demonstrated competency in fundamental vehicle maintenance procedures

• Strong adherence to instructions and procedural guidelines

• Bilingual fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (speaking and comprehension)
